Welcome

I am so thankful you are here

I am passionate about walking with people to live out the best version of themselves + to live into their calling.

This is a place where I will be sharing stories to come, encouragement + studies each week. It will be sharing of the ordinary moments turned extraordinary because of the extraordinary God I serve.

How we show up matters. You cannot pour from an empty cup.

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith

Hebrews 12:2

This is the encouragement where I draw my phrase “look up”.

To look up, to fix our eyes on who he is and who he says we are

To look up before searching around us to find who we are

To look up before we look down at the screen or look down upon a situation

I want to share with you today the encouragement that I have received. When you taste something so good, you want to share. This podcast is about this - On the 7th day, God rested and saw it as good. It was good. What he creates is good. How do we show up after the day of rest? On the 8th day of our week, the Monday of all Mondays, I pray that there is a refreshment to the soul, a steadiness in the heart and the ability to look up even in the mundane. On the 8th day I hope that we settle our hearts throughout the day to live into the calling that we have set before us. We go to work, we go to school, we come home- but how do we show up?

I hope that the encouragement we hear on Sunday pours into the hardest parts of our week to come. When everything is unfamiliar, I hope this encourages a familiar voice calling you closer to see who He is

I want to call out the good in you today- you are made in the image of God, He made you, He sees you + He is here to meet you where you are. No matter where you are.

I am encouraging us to start each day refreshed, renewed. Even on a Monday morning, a Thursday lunch break, a Wednesday meeting.

I implore you to keep fighting the good fight and encouragement to keep running the race at the pace He has set before YOU.

I want to bring focus back on the rest even in the middle of the week. To provide a place of shade even in the desert and in the heat.

If we fight to find the good, we will find it. Some days will require a harder fight than others.  Some days will feel simpler than others. Either way, the posture still remains the same.

I hope this is encouragement in the mundane. I hope even in the simple moments of our weeks, we see the importance of simple moments to look up.

I have recently focused on the “Focus more on the to be list, rather than the to do list.”

Life is more about who we are rather than what we do.

To focus on who the One we are following rather than what’s happening around us

This is a place where I hope you see rest, gather encouragement and leave different so that you can go be the person you have been called to be. In the depths of where I am in my life, I am seeing that the circumstances around me may change, and the waves may come higher on some days than others. Now the circumstances may change, but I serve a steadfast, unchanging God. He is not defined by the circumstances. His character is known, and this is coming from a place of spending time with Him.

Renewed hope is necessary, a fresh wind is essential and a posture of looking up is where we are called from.

This podcast goes alongside with my blog so there will be two places for you to find what is on my heart

I will go deeper in how to apply the words spoken within the Bible and to us into our daily lives and interactions.

How to live out our faith + live into our calling. How to rise up + be the leaders that this world needs. More light, more love, more growth minded people on a mission bigger than ourselves.

How to apply the commandment to wash one another’s feet

How to let go of our nets + how to truly chase after Jesus. How to intimately read the Bible + see the words lived out.

For more content each week, follow along and You can find the studies, devotionals, and blogs in the link in my bio

To find the good in the day set before us.

So let’s win the day, control the controllables + find the hardest good in today.

So glad you are here
